Minor League Field: The project will begin in January 08. The facility renovation will feature a new backstop, new dugouts, new outfield fence with 12 foot wall in left field (a Green Monster), press box renovation, new sideline fence and new lighting. After the proposed Cal Ripken 2008 Under 8 Southeast Regional concludes in late July, we will begin transforming Eddlemon-Hawks Field into one of the finest Softball fields in the state. The field will be the home of the Union City Lady Tornado high school team and middle school team.
Lady Tornado Field will become the site of Union City's Cal Ripken 50/70 field for 11-12 year old play. More on that project soon.

Graham Park Irrigation: Irrigation has been placed on all baseball and softball fields in Graham Park, this should improve overall field conditions in the years to come.
Softball Playing Surface Renovation: This project was completed in October, lips around the infields where removed, and contaminated dirt was removed 3" from the infield surface. New infield clay was added and fields leveled. In the spring a mix of field conditioner will be added.
