In October the City of Union City formed the Union City Youth Athletic Alliance to oversee the operation of all youth leagues operating within the City of Union City.  The Alliance operates under a set of bylaws and policies established by the Union City City Council.  Under the Alliance all leagues operate independently in general league operations, and work together for the advancement of each league in promoting youth sports in Union City.  The system establishes checks and balances for the leagues and allows unification of the leagues under one umbrella.
